Lone Tree here as well. I do Lone Tree here as well. I do my best to avoid the Lodo's down south as it is. Now that I hear the Ohio State thing I don't think I'll ever set foot in there again. Would be nice to have a spot down this way.
Nm Double post
My girlfriend's father fought My girlfriend's father fought the disease for 3 years and was hard to see him go downhill during his fight. Lost my grandmother as well. I cannot bear to read the word as it just angers me. I go in for a biopsy on Monday and while I am not trying to worry, I do not know what I will do if the results come back showing I have something. If so I hope to fight with the courage your wife has shown.
Absolutely embarassing. Absolutely embarassing. Liufau never should have come back in if he wasn't 100%. Defense couldn't tackle a hobbling cripple.
This has always bothered me This has always bothered me when I see you post, so I have to ask. What's with the Neil Devlin avatar?
I'd like to apologize for I'd like to apologize for Colorado's absolute shit performance at USC. CU won the turnover battle 4-1 and failed to capitalize. Montez played the first half like he played the second half at Michigan.
On an incomplete pass at On an incomplete pass at that!
I think these 3 saw the I think these 3 saw the writing on the wall and knew they needed to get out for their future stability. In addition to Texas being a conference killer, these 3 schools were Big 8 schools that no longer felt they fit the conference. Colorado almost left for the PAC 10 in the mid 90s when we saw the SWC coming to an end.
I didn't see anything wrong I didn't see anything wrong with it either, guy is just going down to hit a guy that has a reputation for making plays on returners. The problem I saw was Minnesota's coach making no protest about the call. He basically had no reaction as if to say "Yep I had a bounty on him right there".
Holy shit nice pass Austin Holy shit nice pass Austin Allen.
Idiot came in from about 8 Idiot came in from about 8 yards out to make that hit. Do you think you are going to get away with that?
Did it last year after Did it last year after beating Oregon State too. Guy is as passionate as they come and the tears are for the players. Glad to have someone around that isn't ho hum like the last 2 clowns.
Colorado needed to win last Colorado needed to win last week or this week to have turned the corner. Pac12 South is ripe for the taking.
Montez turned into the Montez Montez turned into the Montez of last week. Driving down to go up 40-17 throws an INT in double coverage. Defense is worn out.
Montez was 17 of 20 at half Nm
Montez was 17 of 20 at half Montez was 17 of 20 at half with 217 passing yards. One of the incompletions was a controversial incompletion in the end zone as the foot was down right on the line.
23-7 Colorado. Liufau not 23-7 Colorado. Liufau not playing.
I'll be there Saturday, what I'll be there Saturday, what are we drinking?
No doubt. This is just the No doubt. This is just the icing on the cake.
CU won't be wearing CU won't be wearing throwbacks. Just the same uniform combo: gold helmet, white jersey, black pants.
My thoughts exactly on the My thoughts exactly on the BIG8. Once it expanded to include the Texas schools it ruined the conference. It added a little more exposure because you really only had Oklahoma and Nebraska as the big dog almost every year, but it just changed the whole culture.
I don't think anyone misses I don't think anyone misses the BIG12. Much better road destinations and many more alumni in the PAC12 states. The conference play is much tougher, but that only prepares you to work harder. I am also glad that the ties with the University of Texas are cut, we don't need to play their conference politics.
CU fan here to add more... Actually a donor and fan of both schools and cannot wait to go to the game Saturday. That said I will add a little on CU: Offense is adding new elements of the Texas Tech offense, very up tempo and dink and dunk passing plays. Expect a few deep shots to Fields and Bobo. Not much usage of the tight end in the passing game so far this year. Running game will be more north/south with Lindsay, while Lee and Evans are the shiftier backs. Liufau has been making reads better than in years past. He is big and likes to tuck and run. Can make the big plays, but has also been mistake prone during his career. Defense has been vastly improved. They have been swarming to the ball more than any CU defense I have seen in over a decade. DBs Awuzie and Thompson will be playing on Sundays. That said it will be a big task with Chesson, Darboh, and Butt. LB is the concern due to depth and injury concerns. Gillam showed signs of greatness as a freshman, but has never returned to form after a concussion 2 years ago. DLine has been getting a good push in the running game, but has not been getting to the passer very much. Special teams features kicker Diego Gonzalez, who had issues last year but has been solid so far. Based off what has been seen through 2 games I see a game that will be competitive into the 3rd quarter. Then I see the depth and athleticism of Michigan being too much. Colorado has been in many close games the last two seasons, and just hasn't made the big play to get over the top. Michigan wins 35-24.
