New to Comments, but have been reading MGoBlog forever. I designed the Jewett Rivalry Trophy. I appreciate the kind reactions to the trophy. The actual 36" bronze is really impressive. It's about 90 lbs so I'm not sure it will be brought to midfield post game, but no doubt that Aidan Hutchinson could lift it above his head while getting to his feet from a seated position. So we'll see..
It spent the night in Iowa City last night and is passing through Chicago currently.

Just fyi - this photo is of the 24" plastic stand-in. The actual trophy is full bronze and 36" tall. It will arrive later this week. It's beautiful... and well-deserved.
The trophy is finished and on its way now to Ann Arbor! Let's keep it there. There is an article in the Football Yearbook about Dr. Jewett and the trophy. Includes images of the plastic mold... I'm new to comments, so not sure if a pdf can be uploaded, but maybe someone can link?
