Wrestling still leading at Big 10 Championship

This was posted early this morning originally, but Amine just got a huge win over Brooks from Penn State at 184.  It is on live right now on Big 10 Network and is getting really interesting.  It is super tight but we have a real shot after Amine's upset win.  I figured it was worth an update for any wrestling fans on the board.

I think it may come down to Mason Parris in the 3rd place match against Kirkvliet from PSU. Would be nice if Schultz from Neb could come back and win this match at 197.

Patrick Brucki with another upset to win 3rd. Michigan is winning this championship in the consolation matches. Ragusin took 3rd at 133, Micic fought all the way through the wrestlebacks to get to 4th, and Brucki just took 3rd. All these guys overperformed their seeding, as did Cameron Amine and Will Lewan to get to the finals.

The Amine v Brooks match was fantastic & I really don't know anything about wrestling. I was glued to my TV the entire match but especially in the 3rd & SV

This is it in the 3rd place match in heavyweight. we can lose but if we lose and get pinned we would lose thew title by 1/2 point. Currently 2-2 after 2.

We won team title

@core42 Agreed. I had never had a celebratory yell at my tv from a wrestling match. It was a true team effort across the board, but Michigan absolutely needed either the 174 or 184 championship to have a chance, and that was a huge takedown to force overtime, and even huger to get the SV win.

Even better was that Myles Amine's key win came right after Starocchi defeated Logan Masa and declared Penn State was much better than Michigan.
