That's good news. B1G is a tough place to compete in wrestling. PSU has been cleaning up in recruiting, as I understand it.
And maybe some shrimp scampi. Looking like the lineup is gonna need somebody to step up at 125 with Youtsey graduating. Can challenge for a Big Ten/National title with the potential lineup next year.
Boo yah!
Score!!!!
I just remember St Eds cleaning up at states in my far distant youth. 3 time winner in Ohio -- must have.
He is from Delta, OH. A small D-3 school. 3x Ohio champs are always a good get though. David Carr from Perry also won his 3rd championship and will go for his 4th next year. Carr defeated highly reguarded Ohio State commit Jaden Mattox in this years final. Man I would love him to be another Steve Luke! Hopefully we are recruiting him hard!
If I recall Delta was pretty solid on the mats.
You recall correctly they are a small school powerhouse
Do they turn out many that pan out collegiately at the D1 level?
they are a wrestling power. Tiny town/school (like the one I lived in) but very talented regarding wrestling. A lot of the NWOAL is.
commit Jelani Embree also won his 2nd straight state title last weekend. This makes me feel old as I wrestled against his dad back in highschool.

Can Assad make 125 next year? His injury is the reason Youtsey came back.
