Why is our star receiver even returning punts?

Inexcusable. We just Ronnie Bell for the season

I believe this game is going well but there are many other question I have regarding it besides this stupid one. We all hate that Bell got hurt but he could have just as easily gotten hurt running a route.

Given that Michigan all-stars returning punts for touchdowns are two of the most memorable plays in the last 30ish years of Michigan football, this has got to be one of the dumbest most reactionary takes anywhere in America today.

Are you really that stupid? If you are waiting for support in this thread don’t hold your breath.

I won’t bother listing all of the players - including two HEISMAN TROPHY WINNERS - that have returned punts for Michigan over the years.

This is not only a stupid take, but the completely incorrect take. And you doubled down on it.

this thread is likely going to turn into a posbang for everyone telling you how moronic and wrong you are, and a simultaneous negbang for you

Idk. Ask OSU why does the same thing.

Or when UM let Howard and Woodson do it.

Such a reactionary take. You'd be bitching if a true frosh fumbled a punt and saying JH should put a veteran like Bell out there. Your upset like the rest of us, but jeesh man.

get your top dogs on the field.  injuries occur in football, unfortunately.  different story if hes catching kicks with 9 min left in a blowout.

harbaugh usually likes an interesting mix of starters on ST coupled with handful of walkons.  i guess its part of how he builds his desired culture.  id rather see promising scholarship backups gaining confidence and staying engaged via ST role than senior walkon TE or FB with limited upside however i can see counterpoints.

bottom line, trust your depth and take advantage of big play potential on kicks with athletes like bell back there.  fingers crossed its minor - sucks to see seniors go down

What a ridiculous OP.  Guys unfortunately get hurt. He got hurt running the football and getting tackled, Judy like he could playing receiver. It sucks. But it’s football.
