I don't know about the knowledge, but I've got PlayStation Vue. I don't watch much tv, it's mostly for football. Not too bad so far, but I don't know if I'll feel that way if we have a game on ABC. The ability to sign into watch ESPN on my phone is probably the most useful feature so far.

To use it with. The only reason I have direct TV is for Michigan football. My contract has been up for a couple of months and my bill is around $120. The bad part of direct TV is if there are storms anywhere near my home I can't watch the games anyway. I was either going to bundle my internet and cable with Time Warner, or just get top notch internet with PlayStation vue and Amazon fire box. I'll probably wait untill the middle of the season when Michigan is going to be on BTN and try the 7 day free trial with my 15mbps internet and if it can keep up then I'll probably switch to PS vue.

Just a little PSA but if your out of contract and paying $120 your doing it wrong.  Literally call and say that you would like to cancel and you will get an automatic $10-25 off/mo.  I have the base package (i.e. only watch TV for sports) and my bill has been between $50-60/mo for over 2 years.  Essentially @ that price point the convenience factor trumps the additional $10 savings that a Netflix/Sling TV/Amazon type set up would have.  The best part is that I would seriously cancel but if they want to continue playing "let's make a deal" then sure, I'll stick around.  :)

15 will not be enough for sports. I tried it with speeds in the 20's and it was not a clear picture. I really wanted to switch but I like my picture to be crystal clear. I called dish and told them the deal I could get with vue and they are giving me $10 off my bill for 10 months. Put my monthly bill down to just under $60 a month.

I like the fact that with the firebox I can unlock it and get any show movie or series that I want to watch as well. I don't mind paying out the money for something good that's honest, I just hate how cable and dish treat the consumer with rental fees and protection plans, and occasionally raise their rates out of contract without warning. The only way that I'm going to keep direct TV is if they give it to me for free.

Someone's alter ego, presumed to be one of the staff or at least a high frequency user, that tells you the future because, for THE KNOWLEDGES, the future is, in fact, the past.

We usually get a "season Review" (yes review not preview) right around now. Then when something crazy happens (like that event that didn't happen last year against a certain green and white team) it is explained that an unforeseen wrinkle in the space-time continuum occurred causing a change in the future.

It's entertaining to some, stupid to others. I find it fun.

THE_KNOWLEDGE is probably somewhere in space and time such that we cannot currently perceive him, which is fine. We can only hope he's debating how to tell us about the results of Team 137.

For those who have never witnessed it, this is pretty much like any game where you can create a warp point so you can return to a particular location later, hopefully to tell those left behind of all that you have seen. Hopefully.
