Watts-Jackson out for rest of season after celebration

Submitted by Wendyk5 on

Jalen Watts-Jackson, the guy who scored the game-winning TD last night, is out for the season with a fractured hip after the celebration got a little too rowdy. Not only that but a man had a heart attack in the stadium after that last play, too. I initially heard he was in stable condition. Let's hope so. Obviously karma was not too happy with the way the game ended.

Yeah, best wishes to the guy who won the game for MSU and then taunted the students. I won't say "good," but I will say I don't care one bit.

Dude, are you the one who started the thread on this that was quickly deleted? What about this comment pisses you off so much? He didn't say it in the press conference. He said it to a bunch of his fans after a ridiculous win. I hate Dantonio too, but this does not even register with me at all.

Ok well did you see that post and everyone's reaction to it?

And I ask again, what about this makes you so upset? If I had a list of the things Dantonio has said that pissed me off, this would be at the bottom. If it was on the list at all. We all rip on state for playing the disrespect card for everything. Well, you seem to be doing the same thing here.

What part of a grown man acting like a pubescent teenager DOESN'T bother you?? I mean, seriously. He's the coach acting like a spoiled, ridiculous brat. I'd be embarrassed if my kids acted like that let alone a man who is, let's be honest, one of two faces of a large and successful D1 school. Embarrassing, I'd doubt that any MSU fans are embarrassed but if Harbaugh did that I sure as shit would be.

No coach should be talking about opposing fans. Not Cool. Harbaugh would never do that. That is low even if he won on our field and even if our idiot fans said something to him. He is older and should know better. It is the same crap about Mike Hart comment. A coach should never recognize a player's comment, let alone react to it.

Agreed. I mean, I hate losing to OSU, and I hate Urban Meyer, but at least he's not a total prick about everything.

But Dantonio's victimization, little-man complex is so infuriating. He's so utterly, utterly hate-able. I hate Saban, but I respect Saban. And while I hate Dantonio, I don't respect him for a second. And in my (which I'm not pround of at all mind you) hatred of Dantonio the only thing that makes me smile, lateral to all of this, is that it's looking more and more like Narduzzi was the salve to the Spartans mediocrity woes, and they seem thus far to be somewhat hapless without him.
