Wake Up! It's Game Day!

Good morning MGoCommunity,

Not a very exciting slate of games this week, but it is football Saturday nonetheless. There are a couple of games that I'm particularly interested in. First is WKU v OSU. WKU has had some fairly good offenses over the past few years. I'm not expecting them to win that game, but it would be nice if they put a scare into the Buckeyes. Also, it will be interesting to see how MSU responds to the cloud surrounding its football program. Many Spartans that I know believe the return of Dantonio to the sideline (in an "advisory role", of course) is going to completely transform their season. I highly doubt that, and I'm looking forward to MSU getting embarrassed at home.

Finally what are you guys doing with all the time before the late kick? I'll be finishing up a bit of light landscaping, as the weather is going to be beautiful up hear in northern Michigan.

Enjoy the day, and Go Blue!

just got back from the morning dog walk, hit the farmer's market on the way home.  Stopped in the office to catch up on a little admin work left over from the week.  Next I have to tune up the lawn mower and cut the grass.

we have a DII game just down the street we'll be attending at 1:00, VIP tent with food and beverages provided...    Throwing some thick cut porkchops in the smoker for dinner and settling in for the Michigan Football....

New Riff Yellow Leaming and Blue Clarage bourbons are the choice of beverages for the game, because it's close enough to Maize n Blue.

Cubs game is on at the same time so we'll probably hit that during the commercials. Pork tenderloin on the grill (I've never done one on the grill) plus I got a carbon steel insert for the grill so I may do some sauteed mushrooms on that. Just give me a new cooking method and college football Saturday (and a Cubs win) and I'm happy.
