Talking sports you say?
HARBAUGH.
And fuck Ohio State.

I paid for crappy internet on a flight to watch the end of the basketball game, so I guess I should watch something else, too.

B1G is 5-0 in the Challenge so far!!! Wouldn't mind if OSU and MSU lose though.

Two thoughts:
1. Ohio State (as was mentioned during the game) has been running Syracuse's zone. Good to see it from the master himself first.
2. Wait... is Pitino drinking Coconut water?

Scares the living shit out of me.

They have some absolute monsters on that team. How do they get all these guys? A 7 foot 200 lb Egyptian? Very physically imposing team. I'm actually really excited to see them play Kentucky on the 27th. That should be a good one.

I'd pay $100 to see those two teams play and I hate them both. I just feel like the quality of college basketball on that floor would be something special. I also think they matchup extremely well.
That said, I have both UK and Louisville in my preseason Final Four (like it matters). UK, Duke, Wisconsin, Louisville. Nothing earth shattering, just four REALLY good teams.

But he's awful.

not really a great thing for an analyst/color guy.

so washed out on my tv, and I have a pretty fucking nice tv.
That court is dogshit.
Just for that, they should forfeit their Natty to us. Trey's block was clean.

isn't this court awful on everyone's screen?
It's a bad color and has bad lighting.

TV over the bar and big screen over fireplace. So two TVs

Louisville are way more athletic than Ohio State. Unsurprising, but holy crap these Louisville guys are jumping out of the gym.
December 2nd, 2014 at 10:04 PM ^
I am sort of enjoying Matta looking with some consternation at the basket, seeming to wonder why this is apparently so hard, this made buckets thing. One of those shots from ESPN honestly had him in "stunned disbelief" mode, I would say.

Remove the sash from Louisville's uniforms
December 2nd, 2014 at 10:06 PM ^
Is getting destroyed...and Louisville isn't even playing well.
Time to watch the end of the 2nd half of the Michigan game since I only saw the last 8 minutes.

Louisville would probably beat us soundly, but man does OSU look bad. On a similar note, some of those Louisville players look 28 years old. How are they in college?
December 2nd, 2014 at 10:16 PM ^
We'd get demolished on the boards and down low in general, but OSU's offense looks straight up sloppy in every way. Russel on OSU is interesting to me, though. He has a pretty unique passing style. It's not really working, but I like watching him flip the ball around randomly.

Just thought I'd throw this little piece of funny out there.

Wouldn't be a bad WR coach...
Could you imagine press conferences if we hired Miles and Johnson?
Unseen levels of entertainment.

Matta.
Man, I want these kids to spend all four years there and look exactly the same as seniors.
December 2nd, 2014 at 10:17 PM ^
Our hoops team looks like they could easily become an Elite 8 type of team again this year, which is nice.
After watching Hackett's press conference, I got the feeling that he has a good feeling about the new coaching hire coming up. I take that as a very positive sign. He carefully worded some key parts there, that I'm surprised I haven't seen more people dissecting over here. I think we're gonna be in good shape. Ironically, the thing I'm most worried about now is the potential culture shock for the FB players if it goes down as I think it may...
December 2nd, 2014 at 10:25 PM ^
Didn't and won't listen to the Press conference...and without making you go into too much detail what were some of the tidbits you thought had little "read between the lines", so to speak?!
December 2nd, 2014 at 10:27 PM ^
He accidently slipped up by saying something like:
".... whether our potential targets are in bowls or ..uh... whereever they may be!"
Sounded as if he wanted to say playoffs
Harbaugh rumors commence!

He also said "institutions and organizations" and responded to one of the questions by basically saying waiting until January for the NFL season to be over might be worth the risk of you know, waiting until January.
Harbaugh was all over that press conference. Hopefully that means something, but it probably doesn't.
December 2nd, 2014 at 10:16 PM ^
ACC fans were about as insufferable as SEC Football fans. They thought the addition of Louisville and Cuse made them the best conference ever by default.
