Today’s Football Team Activities
Slow news day so I thought I’d provide an update on the Football team’s trip around the state.
Today started with dune buggy rides at Silver Lake, then they visited the historic black resort town of Idlewild where they helped restore one of the historic buildings, then on to Arcadia Bluffs golf course where they had dinner and watched the sunset over Lake Michigan. (I’ve played Arcadia Bluffs and I can say the view from the clubhouse is spectacular. If you’re ever in that area, even if you’re not a golfer, it be worth it to stop by and have a drink, or meal, on the patio!)
Not sure about tomorrow but I am guessing Sleeping Bear Dunes and then something in Traverse City.
I believe Freshman are heading back to Ann Arbor tonight but the rest of the team will keep going.
Michigan has so much to see and do Glad the players are getting the opportunity to take some of it in.

My son is a caddy at Arcadia Bluffs this summer. He was playing the front nine last night and saw the buses roll in when he was on the 3rd hole. He mentioned that after the team ate, they gathered around the 18th green and watched the golfers finish their rounds.

Tomorrow And wednesday Harbaugh and Some of the boys will be in Indy for Big Ten media days.

They are at lake charlevoix today, 3 houses west of my brothers house, which is about a mile west of horton bay. Seen them out on boats and sea doos all day, super hot and sunny day up here!
