This is as good a place to ask this as any.  What happened to the written in stone rule of old that you plant your heels on the 10 yard line and don't field anything over your head?  Odds are the ball goes in the end zone but if it lands short of it, so be it.  This isn't just a Michigan special teams issue.  I've seen it throughout college football in the last few years.

Good luck, young man! We'll remember you for that championship-saving recovery. Hope it's not too hard fielding punts at your next stop with that enormous ring on your finger.

Man I feel bad for him reading his comments on twitter.  He's taking that play really really hard and really beating himself up about it. I hope he can forgive himself or realize that there's nothing to forgive because everyone on that field makes mistakes and its how you recover from the mistakes that is important.  He recovered beautifully and should be proud of himself.

Best of luck to Jake moving forward

His Twitter comments suggest he is taking the punt really hard. I imagine some so-called “fans” may have given him flak.  Please go there and say something nice to him.

Just like there's an alternate universe where "Whoa he has trouble with the snap" never happened, there's an alternate universe where. "He muffed it! Bama Wins!" did happen.
