Team USA closes out the round robin group stage against the Olympic Athletes from Russia. It's been a crazy group with USA and OAR dropping openers to Slovenia and Slovakia, then flipping the script in game two. On paper this is a bad mismatch...Pavel Datsyuk, Ilya Kovalchuk, and a host of proven stars for OAR.
Who can forget 4 years ago at this same spot in the group stage, when USA and Russia took it all the way to a shootout and beyond. TJ Oshie!

I watched the Chech republic beat Canada last night and I think the Grand Rapids Griffins would beat both teams. Bettman has a chance to grow interest in the NHL amongst casual fans and again makes the wrong call.
The US- CAN women's game is appealing though.
