Tailgating with BBQ Trailer - GO BLUE BBQ
Hey Guys,
I am planning on coming up to AA for the Notre Dame game and want to tailgate all weekend. Everyone is invited. My plan is to set up Friday night and cook thru Saturday night. Is this possible? If so, where is the best spot? I've heard the golf course is the spot as well as Pioneer parking lot, but not sure how early we can set up. Also, are charcoal grills allowed? Some places do not allow for open flames, from what I've heard. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Golf course opens on the day of the game so you're unfortunately out of luck there. I think you can do Pioneer Fri and Sat but maybe have to have a permit? Someone knows more about Pioneer than me on this board.
I know there's no charcoal or fryers allowed on the golf course.

Charcoal is allowed in Pioneer.
I don't believe you will be able to get into the golf course until Saturday. Pioneer only allows RVs the night before but those passes are sold out for the ND game.
For Pioneer if it is a noon/330p game then you can get in to set up the tailgate at 6am. If night game then gates open at noon for non prepaid pass holders.
I also believe the golf course is pretty strict on the getting out 2 hours after the game where I don't think Pioneer is as strict on that policy.
If you wanted to do what you are talking about you probably need to find some house by the stadium that would let you use their yard.

The golf course is indeed very strict on the 2 hour post game time limit. Found this out the hard way my 1st trip up there. Got the opportunity to meet campus security after a long day of tailgating too!

We can put Dennis in charge of the camping.

I love to day dream about BBQ as well.
Probably why I moved to USA.

RV parking is fucked for every game except for Rutger and (strangely enough) MSU. The University didn't do us any favors by buying Fingerle Lumber. You won't find anything for Friday night.

If you’re cooking, you can hold the tailgate at my house.
I only live several hours from the stadium.

I'll undercut you. Everybody come to my house, I only live an hour away.

Hit me up. I have a season RV pass for Pioneer for the bus. Perhaps we can collaborate? mgoblog (a) homesurelending.com

That's a good plan! It must be fun. In my opinion, we can add some cooking with fire pit grate. It is not expensive and the food is tasty. We can choose it easily if we read a review on https://bestyardproducts.com/best-fire-pit-grate/ I am sure, it will make the party better.
