Steve Wiltfong CB is now 'foggy' on 5-Star 2019 DE Zach Harrison
Introduction/Summary
Harrison is a top recruit on the 247 composite who lives just beyond the shadow of Ohio State University. He visited Michigan during their big win over Wisconsin, joining several other high school standouts. National recruiting expert Wiltfong changed his Crystal Ball from the Buckeyes to 'foggy.'

Below I've put in an image of the tweet, since I can't figure out how to embed those things. I've tried to link the image below, but in case that doesn't work, here's a link to the original tweet itself. Related articles are here($) and here($).
Some Thoughts
I don't have access to the linked articles, so I'm not really sure how strong Wiltfong's source/reasoning is. But in general, Wiltfong's CB is an important one; he doesn't make that change lightly.
In the afterglow of a big win with most recruits, I would shrug my shoulders. A visit's power to trigger a outpouring of positive reactions with a half life of a few days is pretty well documented. But Harrison is not your typical recruit. His deliberate, private process gives greater heft to his post-game reactions.
It probably doesn't hurt that Franklin's ineptitude was on full display this weekend. It's becoming much easier to objectively connect dots that say PSU backed into its recent success and is now frittering away the talent of recruits with Franklin's horrific decision-making. Ohio State's hiccup against Minny can't help, though I doubt it had much influence, either.

I have to believe that PSU is/has serious slipped in the race for him.
I also HAVE to believe OSU has slipped due to both the scandal, and recent rumors of liars health issues.
I do believe that Michigan was probably running 3rd for him at one point. I also believe that Michigan very well could hold a slight lead at this moment, or be right there with OSU.
There is no drama at UM. UM offers the better education. Our DL continues to be arguably the best in college football year in and year out under Mattison. He has to see all this, right?.

While I agree with all your facts, kids don't evaluate things the way adult men do. If we had every recruit who said academics were important, we would only have 5 * student athletes on our team. Very few are like Noah and DPJ who truly value the academic side.
BTW, bama has an engineering school!!!

It would be awesome if he came out and said, “I’m done with this, I like both schools a lot and have decided that I will be playing for the school that wins The Game. No more interviews”.

And play for a coach and staff that has no moral values. I'm sure his mom is very impressed with the way OSU sweeps women's abuse under the rug so they can win "the game". Try again jack ass.

Harrison is supposed to be back for the PSU game too... and i would imagine he will also be at the shoe for the Michigan game too (though visiting OSU)
Seems like Michigan has a shot here...if they continue to win and the D continues to look as impressive as it is, i think those CBs will flip to Michigan

I thought that the Wisconsin game was a replacement for Penn State. Where did you hear otherwise?

Lorenz just said that OSU is fading, too:
“Honestly, if I was putting a 247Sports Crystal Ball in today, it would not be to Ohio State,” he said. “I don’t know where it would be, but based on everything I’ve heard when asked, I don’t think it’d be the Buckeyes today. That doesn’t mean this can’t change.”
