Somewhat OT: Game Day Today Question

Submitted by phork on

My wife has a severe peanut allergy and carries with her Epi-Pens for emergencies.  On the MGoBlue website it states NO purses.  She has a very small purse that she uses for sporting events that holds her Epi-Pens.  Can anyone give me a concrete answer in regards to if this might be an exception?  Thanks.

Where the vehicles can enter.  They have police presence there that will inspect your wife's medical gear and approve it for entry with a special tag.  Got a family member with a medical issue and use that gate when they are with us.  They are very nice, just explain the deal.

I have no idea, but if they don't allow that, then I think you have the moral high ground to freak the hell out on anyone with a badge in your general area.

But you may need some type of documentation and you may be subject to a more detailed search.

Just like nursing mothers or guests with diabilities sometimes need additional bags or supplies for their day-to-day health.

I would try and find a number to see if there is a specific gate you should enter. They may ask that you enter through an ADA/Guest With Disabilities Gate.

Not to say you're disabled, just because they have the proper personnel to make sure what you're bringing in is safe.

My daughter has nut allergies. We bring her epipen in my coat pocket with the Rx. In the past we have also brought it in a fanny pack, and after inspection they let it in. Also fyi, I called all the food suppliers a few years ago. Safe items include: soft pretzel, popcorn, hot dogs. Hot chocolate IS NOT safe- made in facility with nuts. Pizza used to be safe, but they changed the supplier, so I'm not sure, but I think it is safe.

Thanks for the tips gang.  We had a great time and enjoyed some great football.  I am looking for the "Attempting to deceive" play, because I was looking at something else at the time.  And of course dealing people going to a football game who don't know shit about football can drive one nuts.
