but I just came on to say I thought that was a classy move by Coach Hutch to hold the runner at 3rd in the 6th inning instead of trying to score an 18th run.
now the key is to keep this newfound momentum through the rest of the tournament run!
Yeah I'd be cool with just about 17 runs per game throughout the tournament.

I will have to look it up but I bet it has been years since 3 Big Ten teams were in the WS. Maybe never. B1G has improved its softball. We can now be compared to Big 12 and SEC.
The PAC 12 still dominates however.
Maybe this is just me or does it seem like in the past 10 years or so softball has been improving and growing big time east of the Rocky mountains?
