Actually, void that last comment. I’ve mentioned this guy way too often lately.

My upset pick if OSU losing first round, getting banned from entering Indianapolis and then somehow causing their school to lose all accreditation.
what are we talking about again?
i'd call that more of a rejoice pick, than an upset pick.
If anyone is fiending and needs matchup info now, I found this method earlier this year for getting point scores/point predictions and can be done by one's self with an excel sheet if you don't have a Kenpom subscription. There are other methods and calculations but this seemed fairly accurate this year, at least regarding point spreads, especially.
'Download'/copy the Kenpom front page into a spread sheet. Figure out the national Tempo Average and national ppp average (Average Efficiency)
1) Add Team A's offensive ppp + Team B's defensive ppp and subtract the national average efficiency.
2) Take both teams tempos, add them, then subtract the national average tempo. This will be the game tempo/pace.
3) Team A's predictive offensive output will be the the number from step 1 multiplied by number from step 2, divided by 100. Do the 'same' for Team B.
Normally you would add 1.6 for a home team and subtract 1.6 for the away team but neutral courts negate this.
Science!?
