You wanted to major in criminal justice and your leaving FSU!? What!? He can get 100 hours of internship credit just being around a couple criminal teammates.

Come on. Not necessary. There are a hell of a lot of people who went to really good schools (to play school, not sports), including posting regularly on this board, who make misstatement like that all the time. There are numerous memes about that topic all over the Internet for a reason.

Friend in the know says Tennessee or Michigan could be possible destinations. Doesn't bode well that he's leaving FSU even though their LB core is kinda weak atm.

...would just know where he WANTS to go. A friend in the know isn't going to know if he can actually get in to wherever he wants to go (or if the coaching staff wants him).

When I graduated high school my friends knew I wanted to go to Harvard.

There's a lot of negativity about transfers that I don't understand. Ultimately, the team that gets him will get his RS JR and SR years, the best years a player has, while only having to provide 3 (or even 2) scholarship years. The productivity per scholarship year is much better at the end. Here's a very physically talented guy who had a good reputation for intelligence who didn't really get it as a sophomore. Give him a year to learn the system and he could be very useful.
