Saturday Night Lions, CFB, and BBQ Thread

Mates,

A rare Saturday night Lions game.  They are home, favored by 5 pts over a 7-6 Denver team.  Lions have been very weak of late, but could probably sew up the Norris Division with a win, especially since Minny lost in OT today.

You also have some CFB on, UCLA v. Boise might be interesting.  I missed the South Dakota SU v. Montana game but sounds like it was an OT dandy.

What's on your BBQ and/or plate, and what pray tell is in your cup?

Hope you are well and looking forward to the holidays.

Go Blue, beat bama!

It was our family's annual Christmas candy making day. We make about 100 chocolate covered cherries and a big batch of caramel-melt about 5 pounds of chocolate and dip all sorts of things. At our house we make "Wolverines"...not Suckeyes :) No peanut brittle this year :(

The wood stove is blazing away-so nice.

A year ago I lived near a Twin Peaks and I used to go watch—among other things—games there.

A waitress once talked to me at length about their employment arrangement and she said “we’re (legally) performers”—like, actresses.

Actors are paid to manipulate people, and ESPN is made up of performers, so I now view ESPN as an ethical equivalent of Twin Peaks, though the waitresses are at least honest about it, and much easier on the eyes.

Wild ride in this thread from we’re dead to we’re back. 6 on defense had himself a game. Hutch needs to be more disruptive like Crosby. I think inside Goff will wrap up the division next week. Looks like Jamo is finally ready to contribute.
