Sam spent a number of years here in Duluth and did this once several years ago for a UMD tournament game that got some good attention. I was delighted to see him do it again. He’s originally from Dearborn, went to NMU, came here, and now he’s back in Michigan.
It is a regret of mine that I didn’t manage to meet with him at some point while he was here.

He did the same thing nearly 3 years ago for a UMD (not to be consumed with UDM) hockey game. It looks like he improved his MSPaint skills in the interim.
