No chance. Michigan controls its own destiny at this point with or without an Illinois victory. It is just fun to establish a circular conflict in the transitive property where at least one of the teams overcame the home field advantage. Time will tell.

Maybe Paul Chryst spent all week preparing his team for tOSU and ignored the game ahead of him?
Now there's a potential weird scenario. Say, by some miracle, we win tonight and a ticked-off Wisconsin beats tOSU next week. We're all one-loss teams, UM and tOSU have equal records, and the only undefeated B1G team is Minnesota. Strange world.
