OT: Who's gonna win the Superbowl?

Personally rooting for Manning to win one more and retire a-la Elway, but I think the Seahawks' defense is unwise to pick against if the game ends up being played in inclement weather. Plus, the Seahawks have a pretty competent offense that is capable of winning games in their own right.

Prediction if snowing:  Seattle 24 - Broncos 17

Prediction if just cold:  Seattle 35 - Broncos 31

It seems like Manning can't be denied this year....however, I felt the same way in 2009 and he ended up blowing the game, which seems to be how it always is with Manning.

in Brady's face when the Hawks beat them a few years ago. There is cocky which Deion was and then there is being an asshole. Sherman is an asshole. I didn't mind Deion. He was amusing. Sherman is just irritating.

Am I the only one who seems to think there's a method to Sherman's madness? Yes, he is kinda being a dick about it, but he definitely grasps that so much of football is mental, and he clearly got in Crabtree's head at the end. He backs up his trash talk with great plays- or just one great play, that happens to clinch his team's trip to the Super Bowl.

on both sides of the ball.  they run more than they pass which is a testament to their offensive toughness in particular.  as much as i respect manning, i'd take the seahawks (and assumedly the points) vs. the broncos.

Denver is a great team but Manning is historically bad in the cold. He's an old man and has taken a beating for years. His body has had enough. I think he plays an OK game and Seattle pretty well wins.

I am rooting for Peyton, just so I don't have to listen to idiot reporters argue (an idiotic argument) as to which Manning is the better QB (simply because Eli happens to have 1 more SB than Peyton). Any reporter, even suggesting, that Eli is the better QB (even post season), should be put on the first one-way space flight to OGLE-TR-56b.

I'm rooting for the Broncos all the way. I've got nothing against Sherman. Yeah he's got a big mouth, but boy does he back it up. As long as he doesn't make personal attacks, he's earned the right to run his mouth as long as he keeps playing at a high level and shutting down whoever he lines up across from.

No, I'm more rooting for the Broncos because I hate Pete Carroll. And because Peyton is a living legend and I'd like to see him win another Super Bowl. I don't have to feel bitter towards him like UT fans do towards Woodson.
