OT: Urban Meyer shit show continues...

As this article explains, seems like Urban has created some serious tension between his coaches and players in Jacksonville. (Again).

In the last two weeks alone, he's thrown his WR unit under the bus - resulting in locker room favorite, and former Detroit Lion, Marvin Jones to storm out of practice, only to be convinced back - to which he then got into a heated argument with Urban. He also benched their #1 RB in a game in favor of his old boy Carlos Hyde, but the most damning thing out of the last two weeks was this gem:

"During a staff meeting, Meyer delivered a biting message that he's a winner and his assistant coaches are losers, according to several people informed of the contents of the meeting, challenging each coach individually to explain when they've ever won and forcing them to defend their résumés."

What a massive dick hole this guy is.

It looks bad for Meyer but I would never rely on "sources" to make a decision.

Remember the story Durkin told?  Meyer got in his face during the interview and challenged Durkin to explain why the @#$)( do you think you are good enough to be on my staff.  It was the strongest example of a stress interview I have ever heard.

Meyer challenges people.  He wants your best.  He believes that if you have what it takes you will respond and his in-your-face approach will work.  If you can stand up to Meyer then you can stand up to a lot of pressure.

It may be time to cackle with glee if you enjoy watching Meyer's demise but I don't see how this helps Michigan.

I know football is tough and all, I played it, and coaches get into being tough especially when motivating players, I still draw the line at demoralizing someone….But here you seem to be giving the guy a pass here for being a total asshole and having no idea how to deal with humans. If my boss said that to me, using that language, even if it was in a football context, I would quit on the spot after telling him “why the fuck do you think you are good enough to have my services?”

Yeah this abuse as positive meme has to die.  When psychologists do this for science there is a very rigorous process that includes waivers and a debrief and support after the experiment.  But otherwise, telling people they're losers only betrays a total ignorance of the human condition

Urban is a piece of shit.  He really has no redeeming qualities.  He whored himself out to Jacksonville for the $$.  He should walk away and move to Utah and live in the woods.
