OT: Unprecedented Jump for Emani Mason (2017 OT) in 247 Rankings

Emani Mason, 6'4'' OT from East English Village Prep in Detroit MI, jumped 1,065 spots to the #1 ranked player in the 2017 class.
Thankfully, this means Harbaugh can stay close to home and work on landing the #1 recruit.

I was fooled by the SI story by Plimpton all those years ago. Plimpton spun a little better story than a random 247 ranking, though.

I would hope and expect that if it was real (but it clearly was not) that our coaching team would already have had him on their radar based on tallent not rankings. Especially since he is local. That was the main clue it was fake.
