OT: Two ASU Football Players Videotaped Burglarizing Dorm Room

Submitted by MGoShoe on

ASU DE Lee Adams and OL Jamil Douglas were caught redhanded stealing electronics from the room of a Sun Devils teammate. They've been charged with second degree burglary and suspended from the team indefinitely.

According to this article:

Adams, a defensive tackle from Corona, Calif., has played in one game this season, the opener against Portland State. As a high school senior, Adams was ranked as the 35th strong-side defensive end in the country by recruiting service Rivals. Douglas, an offensive tackle from Cypress, Calif., is redshirting this season. Last year, Scout ranked him as the nation's 65th tackle.

Nice work guys.  See ya.

i can't believe all of the things that these athletes get away with. I know these 2 got caught, but you know that more often than not when they do something it gets overlooked.

I was hoping that placekicker Thomas Weber was not one of them. Because he is on my college football fantasy keeper league team. Because I am a nerd like that. And then I realized a kicker would never get into that kind of trouble.

In 2003, while living in Okemos, a MSU runningback stole my bottle of Aqua Di Gio. I found out who it was because my roommate was a tutor for the football team and heard he was bragging about it to some of the other guys on the team. Thought I'd share.

Anyone as bored as me bother to watch this video til the end?

"A third person... a suitemate of the victims was questioned, and according to the police report, police found unburned marijuana leaves in a bag in his room and it was recommended that he be charged with facilitation of second degree burglary" (emphasis mine, per the usual)

Maybe he should be charged with smokin the reefer... what kinda time you serve for that type of facilitation?

These players are caught on-camera robbing a teammate, and they've not been kicked off the team immediately? What more evidence does Erickson need to move them from suspended to gone?

Contrast this with RR booting Feagin as soon as he learned of Justin's actions.
