Get in the car Russ.
If they lose their last 5 and the Indians win their last 5, I'll ban myself if Brian hasn't already taken care of that.

If we get 2009'ed, I will take your mother, Dorothy Butterfield, out to a nice seafood dinner, and then NEVER call her again.

How so? They're not perfect, but they're 7-3 through their last 10 games, and haven't lost a series since they dropped 2 of 3 to the Royals Sept. 6-8. The starting rotation is in fine shape, even with a mediocre Verlander, and if Rondon is healthy, our bullpen is solid. So again, struggling how?

Axelrod works out of a 2 on, one out jam in the bottom of the first; ex-Tiger Avisail Garcia homers to lead off the top of the second. Sox leading 1-0.

Austin Jackson leads off with a triple and scores on a Torii Hunter single. 1-0 Tigers heading to the bottom of the first.

Scherzer wild in the first, walking two and falling behind virtually every batter he faced, but he gets out unscathed. 1-0 Tigs after 1.
End of my day at the office, if someone wants to keep up with the updates, great. If not, so be it. Go Tigers!
