OT - seeking advice about Levi's Stadium gameday logistics

Submitted by Great Cornholio on January 23rd, 2024 at 6:32 PM

The stars have aligned and Great Cornholio is headed from frigid northern Michigan to Levi's Stadium this weekend to witness the Lions deploy trick plays, aggressive 4th down calls, and GRIT to scratch and claw their way to the Super Bowl. I'm hoping some of my Bay Area mgobrethren and sistren can supply some advice, specifically:

-Will be driving in from Pacifica. What's a good strategy as far as how far to go in the car, where to leave it that won't cost an arm and a leg, and how to get from there to the stadium? Is there parking next to a BART station somewhere further out that will put us in a good place to take public transport to the stadium? Also factoring in return logistics, about which I've not heard positive things.

-If we go in early and want to catch some of the AFC Championship game, where are some good places to watch, grab food/drink, chill pregame?

-If the low-cost far-out options are unappealing or non-existent, what would you recommend in terms of parking nearer the stadium? Do people tailgate at 49ers games?

Thanks and Go Lions! Still can't believe it.

Update: it is on like Megatron.

Dropped the hammer this AM on two seats in Section 416. Paid a little extra to for a little better view eh.

Will be somewhere in Palo Alto watching the first half of the AFC Championship. Will update on whereabouts.
