OT: Rampant and widespread sexual torture and abuse in Canadian Junior Hockey

An article dropped today summarizing the rampant allegations of "hazing" going on in Canadian Junior Hockey that go far beyond what is acceptable human behavior. This is done with the open backing of many coaches/trainers/etc.
The article is in French but google will translate it for you pretty well. I would recommend caution before reading, because there is some genuinely despicable things here. Like think "CIA black site torture" levels of bad.
For those that don't know, the CHL includes the WHL, OHL (which has teams in Saginaw and Flint), and QMJHL. They are huge feeders into the NHL and college ranks.

I guarantee this is learned behavior. The people perpetrating this behavior were almost certainly victims at some point or were told by authority figures that this was the acceptable way to treat “recruits” or even possibly forced to participate/witness (which is its own form of torture)
Absolutely disgusting and horrific. The only solution is to have independent monitors in every locker room and a direct and mandatory reporting structure to the police with swift discipline for even the hinting at ANY form of hazing.

I hate to think that when I went to Flint Generals games growing up that I came across some of the people who perpetrated this shit. Just deplorable behavior. Torture is the correct word for it. Absolutely insane. Also insane that the judge dismissed the class action lawsuit, a fact that is flying under the radar here but I do not understand that reasoning whatsoever.
