Ok, it already looks like we headed for multiple threads, so to save the mods some headaches, NFL/Lions comments, questions, observations, under one tidy roof.

These refs  are a disaster....... they totally changes this game with these bullshit calls.   I like how you can't brush a guys helmet with your hand but you can throw him to the ground after the whistle in a scrum.

Jonson's helmet get ripped off no call...nice consistency refs.  FUCK!!!

Why is Stafford always injured??

I only follow the Lions casually, so, I'm hoping a more dedicated fan can post on this.

Is it an issue of him being injury prone?  Or just that we have a shitty OL so he's exposed more?

If the latter, that at least gives me hopes that they'll address the OL in the upcoming off-season and there's hope for next year (or whatever year they next play NFL football)

If the former, it's like, shit, we're paying a guy $60 million to sit in perpetual injury rehab.  Typical Lions fail.

So, are things really changing?  Is Stafford the right guy?  Or, will this team just never be good?

It was pointed out earlier that Hall picked Clausen today, but in addition to that he had 2 pass deflections and lead the team in tackles with 6. Morgan Trent also contributed well today, recovering a fumble and defending 2 passes.

looked real good in 2 and half games this season thus far.  He is a completely different QB and he finally learned how to play QB.  If he continue to progress as a QB, he'll be a nightmare for DC to gameplan because of his ability to throw the ball and run the ball.  Mike Vick is going to have a lot of suitors once his contract runs out.
