funny, i had just come home with my 4 oldest sons from fly-fishing last night when i wrote that. but we had no booze (they are far too young) and were otherwise legal. they are getting very adept at walking the rivers and handling their fly rods for their ages. i suspect they will be much lke your son as the older ones tie their own flies and indeed it was their impromptu request last night to go fishing that sent us out the door.
