Risking some downvotes here, but Brady in recent years seems to have had a lot of work done. He's starting to have that 'celebrity that refuses to age gracefully' look to him.

Hearing about his early years, it's interesting how it diverges from the typical athlete stories we've all heard. He was basically a wealthy kid growing up in a wealthy area attending private school without obvious high end athletic ability. So you go from "backup on a terrible team" to getting private football tutoring and parents driving you to 6 am workouts, and I mean if you think about it, that's both the outcome of his personal drive as well as his parents' ability to support him with time and money.

It's not really a knock because obviously without Tom's determination and focus that's for naught regardless, but it is kinda funny because we have this idea of Tom Brady as the 'everyman' character when in reality if Tom's dad is a factory worker and his mom a nurse, he almost certainly never becomes a Michigan, never mind NFL player.

Dad started his own insurance business and worked loooong hours to build it up.... It always cracks me up when someone says "they own their own business" like all of a sudden they are rich.. Over 1/2 of small businesses go "out of business"... If you have ever started your own small business you would know how much endless work it takes... My Dad worked 3 jobs, one as an auto worker, and sent us six kids to private school because he did not like the school district and we sacrificed alot and we were not rich by any means... We are not talking Bill Liambeer's Dad here.... Look it up - do the research... They were from a middle class family and Dad worked his ass off to get his kids the best he could, like my Dad, and hopefully yours did also...

Ha so funny the coach said “Brady you’re moving in slow motion.” I remember this and have to say I was one of the “put in Drew Henson” fans (although I was probably 20yo.)
