OT: All the NFL coaches but one posed for a group photo. One guess who didn't.

Bill Belichick strikes again:

At the annual NFL owners meetings, currently taking place in Orlando, Fla., every current NFL head coach gathered for one big class photo. Well, all but one.

I know he's a winner and all, but he certainly seems like the world's NFL's biggest jerk.  Or maybe since he is undead he just doesn't show up on film?

And best description ever:

And Andy Reid looks like he wrapped himself in grandma's drapes.

***EDIT*** - narrowed my scope to the NFL based on some feedback below.

But I guess I see Harbaugh as more a NKOTB...not around long-enough to be the biggest jerk.

Belichick on the other hand has proven time and again made the jerk highlight reels.  His only redeeming quality to me is:

but when you compare a 3-year NFL career to the ~20 year career of jerk-hood of Belichick - I still contend Belichick wins.

Perhaps we should have a March Madness Jerk-Pool of 32 Head coaches...I can see Belichick and Harbaugh in the Finals...

I was assuming Harbaugh not because of his personality but because there seem to be a segment of fans here still antsy to smear him.

Bellichick does what he wants to do, and what is in the best interest of his team.  He doesnt appear to be the type that is an outright asshole to other coaches, and many reports say that he does a lot of charity work behind the scenes that he refuses publicity for.

A different type of guy, but not necessarily a bad guy at all.  Here is a read:

“Bill is the essence of a friend,” said Tony La Russa, who credited a three-hour, late-night conversation with Belichick last year with helping him guide the St. Louis Cardinals to a World Series title. “There have been times when he has been so ridiculously generous with his time and insights that I have gotten embarrassed by his kindness.”

I have heard stories where somebody is described as a jerk and then read opposing opinions that overwhelmingly refute those claims and go on to describe that person as "different". In the case if Belichick, I really have no opinion either way but can't help but wonder if he is really just a misunderstood savant. He is competitive, no doubt, but most of negative things I read come across more like describing a guy that is focused and somewhat obsessive though perhaps lacking social tact.

Does this tidbit affect you in anyway in how you live your life? It's sad that we now live in a world where many people pick apart the smalled of things, especially on this message board, sorry to say. And I am not trying to pick on you. I am just commenting based on your post. I thank you for posting it.

Belichek is paid to win football games, not to pose for pictures unless that is written into his contract that he is obligated to do such things. The media likes this because it gives them something to write about. Had he shown up, there is no story to really write.

Btw, maybe bill was too busy banging his hot girlfriend to attend? :)
