I was just going to actually create my own post saying I can't stand the anxiety. I think playoff hockey is the most exciting sport there is. Every second is filled with so much pressure and potential, it's ridiculous. You don't get that in basketball, baseball, or even football (my overall favorite sport). In hockey, I can't walk away from the tv for even 30 seconds, and I can't really say that about the other 3. Game 7 -- gotta love it!

If they lose I'm going to punch a baby. Or a puppy. On a related note, I was driving behind a Prius (pussy) today and it had a bumper sticker that said "Against Baby Abandonment" or something like that. It then said "Don't abandon your baby." Is anyone Pro-Baby Abandonment?

Who the F even has to have a sticker for that? Its like farting in church. That is just a no no, unless it is silent and you always sit next to the suspect old lady. Then you can for sure get away with it.

I was just on ESPN and saw their scoreboard at the top of the page -- it said Det 1 Pitt 0, end of 3rd. Obviously, a little confusing. I guess we're playing the Pirates today, who knew?

...to a watchable stream? Using ustream at the moment and pulling my hair out with the lag. Any help would be much appreciated. Go Wings! also: Crosby looks a bit like the tumor ridden mad preacher from Deadwood.

It is going to ruin my entire god damned week if the Wings give up the stanley cup to a team full of third team all-stars. A team with so much talent looks like they're playing with so little incentive. God Damn it all.

I think people are overrating this Wings team. The defense is the weak spot. They're slow and don't hit. Pittsburgh is pinching hard at the points and dumping it deep in our zone, negating our stars like Datsyuk and Zetterberg and taking advantage of our weak defense. Plus, the refs have been gifting us penalties. I can't believe Franzen wasn't called for interfering with Crosby. Crosby was about 10 feet from the puck when Franzen slammed him. That's good and all, but with some of the weak stuff called on Pittsburgh thus far and the crap we're getting away with (see: just about every play by Rafalski), we REALLY need to cash in. Give Pittsburgh some credit. They're doing a great job of forechecking, creating turnovers, and blocking our shooting lanes. They're good. Period.

I can handle my shitty internet feed. The issue now is the Wings disinterest in shooting from closer than 6.02*10^23' from the feckin' net. All is lost.

That was a wild ride this year, just like the previous two before it. Thanks, Red Wings, for letting me come along for it. Hopefully, they have another deep run in them next year. For now, I'll proudly sport my Red Wing gear, letting everyone know that defeat cannot stand between me and my hockey team!
