I made the mistake of reading the replies to his Tweet...  A good kid doing the best he can...

It's one thing to talk about him on a blog, but Michigan "fans" directly ripping him on his Twitter feed?  Fucking weak.  Hate that bullshit.

A lot of the same people who are trashing Braylon now were probably some of the same ones trashing JOK, Harbaugh, Drevno, Speight, Hoke, Gardner, Denard, etc, etc.

Nobody should be trashing any player of any team via Twitter. That's just sad, but isn't the point of message boards to criticize and 2nd guess and say player X sucks, Player Y should be starting...?

Maybe JOK or Michigan players read this blog, but the anonymous nature means our opinions are just that and like a-holes, everybody's got one.

So it's ok to trash any player of any team on a message board, but not Twitter? Sounds pretty hypocritical. The only difference is that Braylon's comments didn't come from someone anonymous. I don't really agree with what Braylon said, but it's definitely not worse than what a lot of people have said here, on radio shows, on paid message boards, facebook or twitter. It is what it is at this point, but most people who don't have a stake in anything want to continue to make this an issue. It's ridiculous.

....Braylon had the guts to express what was probably on everyone's mind at some point about JOK.

Was it classy to do so? No it wasn't.

Was he telling the truth about the fact that our offense suffered when JOK came on board? Arguably yes.

JOK represents Michigan well and is a great man.

But the best way to shut up a critic like Braylon is not just with words but with actions on the field.

Bc if Peters and Speight can't play this week, then JOK has one last great opportunity to change people's opionions of him by playing lights out this weekend.

If JOK plays bad and Michigan loses, your legacy at Michigan won't be looked at kindly.

But if you play well and beat OSU...you'll leave a legend.

Simple as that.

I'm assuming that JOK means that BE has a history of making mistakes on the football field because that's what BE was criticizing JOK about. If that's the case, yes BE has some drops, but he's an all time Michigan great and to be honest, I'd rather see Malzone on the field on Saturday than JOK. Don't want to be crticized, don't play or play better. Them the rules.

Best not to dignify such sentiment with a response.
Shut up and play. Leave it on the field.
You always win in that situation.
Your not his bitch.

Responding to critics, you always have to weigh the cost-benefit and consider the source of such sentiment. There is little upside for John O'Korn IMO.

Braylon should have supported John O'Korn and wished him well as a fellow man.
Now Braylon looks small.

You may have made yourself a persona non grata around Michigan football for years to come, but at least you galvanized the entire team against you and "fans" like you. O'Korn and his teammates can now play the "disrespect" card. Even if Peters or Speight is OK to play, Harbaugh will be compelled to play O'Korn for at least part of the game.

Now players, please go media silent for the rest of the week.

I find it more or less impossible to trash Braylon freaking Edwards. The guy is a legend, and maybe he should be silent on okorn, but he’s not wrong. I’ve seen the same thing twice now. In the Rutgers game, the whole team was different from the second peters came in. And in this game, the whole team was different from the second that peters got knocked out. All of us were also pointing out that the competitive portion of the game ended as soon as peters’ head hit the turf.
