Honestly, good for him. He gave Michigan three years of his life, and he doesn't owe us anything. Would've loved to have kept him, but he wants to go win a championship, and he's not going to do that with this Michigan team. 

He's going to get better exposure at Kansas, a better shot at a national title, and I'm sure much better NIL money. I don't blame him for leaving. Its probably what I would've done too if I were in his shoes.

I don’t begrudge somebody leaving Michigan if they’re spending all their time on the bench and haven’t been captains of their team. I’ll generally root for them to succeed.

When it come to starters or captains who leave and then on their way out diss the program or its fans who cheered them, my reaction is very different and far less positive.

Was Hunter a grad transfer or a regular transfer?

Not feeling much affinity for him either way since he literally said (to reporters) that he left Michigan for more money.

I'll be rooting for him from afar. Bummed he's not with us. Don't blame him for wanting to make some money and play for a ring in his last year.
