I would have thought the Lions had the steal of the draft; his highlight film is pretty awesome. He definitely has instincts for the position; I feel good about the pick as well.

is that they can defend against his weaknesses and let him play to his strengths. If Tabor works out and Darius continues to be Darius, I call 'No fly zone' in effect in Detroit.
He just trolled the shit out of all of them...love it. He should announce all the picks for the rest of the night.
Isn't Awuzi the guy that knocked the M out of Ruddock?
Awuzie and Taco, Cowboys toughening up that defense
And a potentially healthy Jaylon Smith, coming off that horrific injury a year ago.
As I much as I hate them, they're looking real nice. And I'll of course be rooting for Taco
Oh please. He's a tremendous player. The NFL values physical measurables over collegiate production, and the domestic violence issue certainly isn't helping his cause.
He was a 2 time first team All American, and Big Ten defensive back of the year last year. He wasn't just amazing to us, he was amazing period.
You realize you're talking about two guys entering their 2nd years in the NFL? Your takes are really bad

You're using 1 game, a game in which Lewis actually performed well, to shit on him. You're ignoring the fact that he allowed 74 yards total, at 0.36 yards per play, last year. Like I said, your takes are garbage.
Yeah, Burbridge was targeted like 20 times. Both he and Cook are NFL players by the way
Mixon broke bones in his GF's face
And Mixon would've been a 1st rounder without that, instead he fell to the 2nd. Lewis was probably a 2nd rounder and he's gonna fall to the 3rd because of the allegations around him.
there is a reason Harbaugh has a bunch of 6'2" and 6'3" DB's in the 2018 class at the moment
I'm wondering if teams don't think his skill set and physical tools will translate as well to the NFL that his college production would suggest. The one thing the BIG hasn't had recently is a stable of elite qbs year in and year out. But I still would have drafted him, so who knows.
get drafted later
and paid less (see Malcom Butler vs. Gilmore on the Patriots) - NE will let Butler go after 2017 because they paid Gilmore instead
Agreed. I'm hoping the Lions select at least one Wolverine.
Neither Lewis nor Wormley go in the 2nd round.
Both are climbing to the top of boards.
we had a lot of good college players - but not high NFL picks
imagine the 2016 class and beyond with Harbaugh coaching and how good we'll be
Interested to see where they go here.
Panthers are all in on Cam Newton...getting him toys and protection. Maybe they get Jake Butt and let him learn from Olson and transition into that role when Olson retires.
show again why they stink. Take guys from florida when M guys available.
no wonder they have never been to super bowl.
If they took guys based on what school they went to instead of whether or not they were the best player to pick, they should all be fired.
I'm not particularly excited with the picks the Lions have made, but the idea that the Michigan guys should get picked because they're from Michigan is absurd. You pick the guy that's the best athlete and/or the best fit for need. You don't care where they went to school.
We're reaching territory where Butt and Darboh could get picked...not saying it'll happen, but wouldn't be a surprise.

We will see.
I never bought him as a 1st or 2nd round player.
Lewis I saw as an early 2nd rounder before the trouble...now I would say early to mid 3rd round.
Thought Butt would've been a 2nd rounder before he got hurt.
Could see Darboh as a mid-late 4th rounder.
Hopefully we hear some names here shortly.
Have the Patriots made a pick? I don't think they have or at least I can't remember it if they have.
They've got a pick coming up really soon here, tho.

Did they trade their pick? Looks like it.
