Credit to the Seahawks and also Seattle generally. It's also not all that hard to follow common sense protocols and still be successful.

As much as I hated Carroll at USC, he’s a damn good NFL coach and has done things the right way. If they didn’t have to overpay Russell Wilson (great QB, but overplaying great QBs is the downfall of many NFL teams), they probably would have won at least one more Super Bowl.
