I wholeheartedly approve of this.

It must be Anastos

's much more talented twin brother Dom Anastos

...Tom nor his "brother" Dom. We're going to pull an old Wolverine out of the hat...It will be Mel Wakabayashi. If I'm wrong on this it will be Robbie Moore.
Moretto

No way, not with his drinking and driving history.

My sources say...Scotty Bowman.
Who is negging every single one of your posts? I think they're pretty funny myself...

Mike Babcock
You better think about something else, each and every one of you. When you pull on that jersey, you represent yourself and your teammates...and the name on the front is a hell of a lot more important than the one on the back. Get that through your head. AGAIN!

i know it's not going to happen, but there was that window in time where it was at least somewhat plausible. would've been fun.
let's hope it's a great choice. time for the hockey team to get back to where it should be.

Checked his site. He's a mortgage lender who fled Russia and settled in Ann Arbor in 1991. He represents a handful of Russian hockey players, which seems like a good combination of his financial skills and what I presume to be his strength in both languages. His twitter feed contains basically no breaking news, except for the occasional announcement of an achievement or contract for one of his clients.
Obviously he's worked with the Wings; he also has a client on the Leafs. Take all of this for what it's worth.
His skills may also include funneling protection money back to the Russian mob for his clients. Just sayin.
We're talking about a Russian. I bet he hacked Warde's email to find out about the hire. This guy is legit.
Ruskies don't take a dump without a plan, son

If it's not Gordon Bombay I'm organizing a protest in front of Warde's house.

And a coach other than Red. Legend.
GO BLUE!!

It's time. It's been time.
He dug the program out from the hole it was in for the better part of, what, 20 years? It wasn't easy when he got here, either. Didn't have a winning season until his 4th season.
Just held on too long.
Bear Bryant retired at 69. So did Scotty Bowman. John Wooden retired at 65. Fielding Yost stepped down as HC at 55.
Red is 77.
March 15th, 2017 at 12:04 PM ^
But the media told me that Bear Bryant died of a broken heart because he couldn't live without football, just like JoePa!
Well you know who's at least partly to blame for that
Last year would've been better for his legacy and probably the program. Although they probably underachieved at 8th in the pairwise or whatever it was, still far better than going out with this team. They would have sucked this year regardless of who's coach, but recruited better for next year
about 3 years too long. Could see it in how the team played. It's like he just lost touched with the players the last few years. Almost like his message just didn't get through anymore, I have to attribute it to generational thing.
Love Red and we should probably do something at Yost to honor him forever, but really looking forward to a new coach taking over the program.
