Dax made two huge plays in this game! It's nice to occasionally get those 5 star guys because they make a hell of a difference.

I agree with TTB. I was surprised that Michigan was in so much man because it wound up exposing them to misdirection. The second TD throw by Martinez was perfect, and the first one was a huge bust. I know they got chewed up in Cover 3 in the flats, but I still don't think Martinez is accurate enough to not make him prove it first.

As another reader said, Alabama gave up 34, plus a kick return to a back up QB of a team that scored 17 against Colorado. College football is weird. It's fun to win!

Not much to complain about. The defense was opportunistic and attacking and will get beat occasionally for playing this style. I don't like the fact we had difficulty getting the defense set when Nebraska went up-tempo but that's mostly on the coaches. It just gives them something to work on the next two weeks. 6-0!

Looking at positives, guys on the dline are starting to step up.  Smith and Hinton seem to be emerging.  There were a lot of questions around the dline preseason, but seems like there is a good bit of quality depth starting to develope there.

No wonder coaches want to get Colson snaps, Ross and NHG just don't have the speed to get to the sideline.  Those swing passes are an automatic first down when we are playing man.  Really missing Bush.

Its fine if you have 3 LBs because your OLBs are naturally wider most of the time.

With 2, you're really asking them to be Devin Bush when those don't grow on trees.

You also have to have the mammoths up front to command double teams and keep the smaller, faster LBs clean.

You almost need NHG and Ross because you don't have the DTs/NGs.

It'll be interesting, but it seems clear that those 3 are basically your starters.

I like the flexibility.
