This comes just a day after being suspended amid allegations she tried to quiet athletes who wanted to report Dr. Nassar. The nightmare week continues for Michigan State.

One of their former players alleged that the head coach (Jacquie Joseph) gave permission or directed an assistant (Jessica Bograkos) to pitch at the player's head after she made disparaging remarks about the team. Both Joseph and Bograkos are still coaches for the MSU softball team.

I would consider allowing a graceful retirement to be part of any cover-up. Every penny that the taxpayers would have spent on Klages's pension should go instead to a fund helping these young women get the support they need in life. I can't even imagine how their parents must feel right now. I have a relative whose son is going through the recruitment process for a minor sport right now and the trust they have to place in coaches is enormous. Hearing her story is a real eye-opener about the process.

I don't know, but that should be very hard to do. I wouldn't call a retirement while under suspension graceful. If I were an administrator, I'd be inclined to accept it and revisit her status as more evidence came out.

If this has been going on for more that 20yr you know she is not the only one who knew what was going on, other than the victims. It's to big a secret. She's as bad as JoeP, maybe worse because she actively convince these girls to stay silent.

Dozens of victims, lots of coverup. Multiple crimes including child porn, digital rape of the girls aged 10-16 - you know it 's not POSSIBLE to OVER REACT to a thread like this.
