It's a really cool place. My wife is from Iowa and we stopped by one summer when we were visiting her family. Definitely the coolest place in Iowa. My kids were little at the time and they loved it.

With that said, I don't see how it can support a MLB game of any size. One road in, small parking lot, limited facilities. If you bring in a bunch of bleachers and port-a-potties it will seriously detract from it's charm.

Love this idea! This is pretty cool for the state of Iowa that only has college football and people running for president.

Baseball gets and does a lot of things wrong, this is not one of them.

The field isn't remotely near major league level and likely poses a liability if someone was to get hurt.   Seems like a Hall of Famer exhibition with a lot of fan interaction or something similar on the field would be a better idea.  Seems like a couple of extra fields would draw a lot of tournament money.  I've played all over the country in "senior" tournaments and playing in places like Abner Doubleday field in Cooperstown is a huge draw for us dreamers.

I was in Cooperstown a couple months ago for my son's 12U tourney.  It was an awesome town and we had a blast.  We walked into Abner Doubleday field and it was really kind of "meh".  There was a little league game going on at the time and while I so appreciate the history, the field itself was not as awe inspiring as I expected it to be.

Be real here peeples.  Field of Dreams is the gheyest movie of all time.  100x more than Brokenback Fountains.

Wanna have a catch dad?  Bwahhhhaahhaahahahahhahaha.  sniffle sniffle sob sob.  bwahhhhaahahahahahaha  sob sob sob.

STFU.  Michigan should have revoked James Earl Jones' degree for this crap and erased any record of him ever setting foot on campus.

If you like this movie I don't need to take away your man card.  You never had one.
