Mike Hart's Bio at the Colts
Good grief he was incredible when he played for us. The college part of his bio is unbelievable.

Good to see that he's fought his way onto a really good team. He was a good one to have in the Maize and Blue.

I thought you were going to tell me that under "College" it said "Lloyd Carr's University of Michigan"

Nah, I was just blown away. I watched him destroy defenses for 4 years but obviously took it for granted. Seeing all those accomplishments and records drives it home. He was incredible.

I'd like to see him pick up a TD in the 2nd half. Colts may not have to rush Addai back out there is Baltimore can't move the ball

I saw the headline and secretly hoped it was that same joke.

I didn't want to start a thread for something this little. I just asked Ricardo Miller if the recruiting was going good, he said "its going great". I asked him if there were any new prospects and he said "you will see". I didnt ask him any more questions because I don't want to annoy him. But thats a pretty good sign i think, it sounds like good news is coming.

did you see Ricardo?

I talk with him on facebook sometimes. Im not sure if thats creepy or not but i do it anyway. He seems cool though. I check in on him and Vlad every once and a while, and they answer my questions.

That is unbelievably creepy. Ricardo's a very nice guy from all indications and loves his role as Michigan ambassador, but really, get a life.
Flip it around - if you were one of the top recruits in the country, and now a highly regarded early enrollee at a glamour football school, and random "WolverineFan" regularly "checked in" with you regarding recruiting and team news, wouldn't you be more than a little weirded out?
We intrude on these guys' lives way more than we should. Leave them alone. Seriously.

ehh, about a year ago I would've agreed and said that it really creepy but I don't think it is so bad now.
I haven't actually talked to our players or recruits via facebook but FB has gotten to the point where your personal page isn't exactly a private domain anymore. I've commented on Brian's FB status and i've never met him before. Is that creepy? I don't know, possibly, but the only difference between those two is an age difference of about 10 years or so. When your a somewhat public figure like Ricardo Miller, that type of stuff just comes with the territory.

I am coming around on this way of thinking. I'm not particularlyninterested in friending recruits and players but if they didn't want to use Facebook to interact with fans they would ignore the requests, I guess.

that Chris Singletary does a great job as recruiting coordinator, but he owes Ricardo Miller at least 25% of his salary this year.

So no, please don't pay Ricardo for his recruiting assistance.

between owing someone money and actually paying them.

I realize you didn't want to annoy him, but considering you had already started chatting him up you probably could have slipped in a "do you mean that in a good way, wink wink??"
So I'm guessing the way he said it suggests there is good news to you?
January 17th, 2010 at 12:34 AM ^
Remember when I asked him how recruiting was going and he said "Great"? He said "you will see". "Great" and "You will see" kinda shows me that he is giving me a hint that something good is gonna happen. I wouldn't expect any bad news like players decommiting or anything. That doesn't usualy fall under the catagory of "Great". Then he said "Go Blue!". Thats good right?...

You should have picked a little more. I bet he wouldn't have been annoyed!

I gotta agree. He lives two doors down from me and he seems like a pretty cool guy.

Anyone else notice the incredible effort he's put into his play the last two games? He definately wants to prove himself.
