Really impressed with how this team battles back when they are down. Hutch is such a great coach.

I dont know how women fans of the team/game would react, but not only are they fun to watch, a few of them are. you know, really nice to look at too (kelly!!!). I find myself thinking, thats mysogenistic and sooo not PC and old-world And I should feel bad for thinking that much less sayung it out loud. But then again, the plain fact is they can be ballers but also be "not too shabby." I imagine Tom Terrific has a few female fans for reasons unrelated to his actual throwing skills. So I have to confess the enjoyment of watching our women crushing Esseesee and PacXVIIXLICII competition is enjoyable on multiple levels that I dont have while watching the football or mens hoops teams (subject to whomever the sideline reporter is) (although that brunette on the ESPN softball coverage has that covered in droves).

Gotta admit I was a little concerned when Megan got knocked around in the first inning. But Hutch got her outta there and brought in Haylie, who probably pitched as well as she has all year. The rest was pretty much offense, except for Ms Lawrence's defensive gem in center field. And no, I did not think M would manhandle (correct word?) the UCLA pitchers the way they did. I agree with others that these women have nothing to fear from any other team they'll face from here on. M looks capable of beating them all. Go Blue!
