Michigan Recruiting, why so quiet?

Is it just me or is it a little too quiet on the recruiting front? I haven’t heard a peep of new offers for 2024 kids, coaches evaluating new prospects/on the road recruiting, literally anything during this cake walk non conference schedule. Are they even trying or are they putting all of their eggs in the 2023 basket. Feel like this is the last dance for Jim and everyone else given the fact nobody is even trying to recruit for the future. Hope I’m wrong

Another key point. The Transfer Portal is only in its infancy, but its existence will likely have more recruits use their high school  recruitment as a job interview of sorts where the wise applicants don't burn any bridges with the suitors who don't make the first cut. It is really smart to have good, solid options and build good relationships with other coaches/schools in case you want to transfer several years later. It's something I would coach my son to do if he were a star level recruit.

Here come all the excuse makers. Pucker up buttercup.

I disagree with your "trying" comment, but I do agree that for about 3-4 months recruiting has been a mix of disappointment and dormancy.

Logged in to downvote. This is just a ridiculous post.
As others have noted, the '24 class is basically done aside from some big fish they'll keep recruiting until they sign elsewhere.

I guess a class of 27 kids isn't enough for OP.

Be patient. Jim’s just using his time off to massage and fatten up the waygu bull in his back yard. He’ll probably have it butchered next week so it’ll be processed and ready for when he gets back and then LOOK OUT-

He’ll REALLY start slangin’ the cheeseburgers at the recruits then.

Is it just me or is it a little too quiet on the western front?  I haven't heard a peep of new reinforcements for the 2024th battalion, field commanders evaluating counterattack strategies, literally anything during this stalemate between the trenches.  Are they even trying or are they putting all of their eggs in the Luftwaffe basket.  Feel like this is the last dance for Kaiser Wilhelm and everyone else given the fact nobody is even trying to retake No Man's Land.  Hope I'm wrong.

MGoBlue0405, I understand and acknowledge your frustration with the 2023 recruiting class, which once stood on top of the heap, and is now relegated to the lower section of the Top 20.

Winning cures all that ails but, this feels different altogether. How are we losing out on top recruits, week in and week out, unless they know something we do not.

The only thing I can come up with, is Harbaugh informing them that he is jumping to the NFL after the season is over.

Beyond that, I haven't a clue why we have lost as many 2023 & 2024 recruits this early in the season.
