Let in 2 goals in the first 1:08 and lost 4-3 so not terrible outside of that minute. Hard to take much from that

Michigan looks like the better and faster team so far....
though Nagelvoort misplayed the puck and nearly gave up an easy goal for UNH

Yeah the offense looks crisp. You can really see the talent there. As we all know, that doesnt always pay off in goals though

Stupid. UNH barely kept the puck in our zone and got a quick 2-on-2. Buried it.
Hard to tell on this SD, CN900 internet feed but it looked like Nagelvoort may have misplayed it in someway
Edit: Nagelvoort slid across the crease to address the pass and literally didn't make it across. He slid across and stopped 3/4 of the way and the UNH player buried it in the open space

I'm still holding out hope this season will be different, but there's little debate that Michigan has been bad compared to their talent level ever since the 07-08 team and Hunwick's tenure

I haven't seen any of the game, but catching on the posts it looks like we're getting throughly dominated.

We outplayed UNH most of the 1st. Shots were 9-3 at one point and we had a bunch of chances, then UNH got a PPG and it's been an absolute mess since then. Probably just 2-3 scoring chance for us since then. 2nd period has been an utter disaster

Underperforming seems like it's the theme for Michigan Hockey lately.

Certainly not a promising start, and I've watched enough Michigan hockey to know that we generally are what we are. At this point we look like a talented team on offense and perhaps a mess on D.
In four games (with 2 exhibitions), we've given up 4, 4, 2, and 4+. I think the D is going to be real rough this year

Tbh I think the AD would explode trying to replace the Football and Hockey Head Coaches in 1 year lol. Granted the timings are different, but still given history....
