Michigan getting crazy creative with recruits

Submitted by Shakey Jake on

Here's what Michigan sent to Keisean Lucier-South as a recruiting pitch. Pretty cool.

... from a visual design perspective it is 100% absolutely terrible quality.  I could create that graffic in powerpoint.  Compared to the materials I've seen published out of other schools (like OSU), it looks bush league.  You would think with the budget we have in the AD you could get some high quality visual designs for these things.  I'm all for selling the sizzle, but fuck me, that is one ugly visual.

Why can't we just use attractive coeds and crazy parties like everybody else?

But honestly, not a bad idea.  Personally I can't take this photoshop stuff seriously, but I'm also not a 17-year-old kid who is an elite football recruit.

I dont like the Map one.  Bo would never have sent shit like that out.

The "draft" thinking promotes individualization and not TEAM.  It also indicates that a player is 'already there'. BS he is going to need to work like a dog to get to the NFL level.

Its misleading and disingenious to the hard work that has gone in to building the Michigan program, IMO.  Im surprised Hoke takes that approach.

Super cheesy but why is Hoke in the picture?  Chances are he won't be at Michigan by the time South graduates (IF he choses Michigan). With Hoke performance of late, he'll be long gone before the kid walks the stage.
