The MGoBoard Class of 2010

Graduating with a Master's from Notre Dame (University of Michigan class of '08 - the last two years have been ... challenging). Heading off to DC for a Ph.D. at Catholic U., so the real world is still far, far away (and not likely to get any closer, as I'm hoping to become a professor in due course).

I'm one of the few and privileged to have heard the guy who invented Spell Check speak at his graduation. Oh, and one of the last public addresses by one Bo Schembechler. We (obviously) didn't know at the time but we screamed as much as we would have had we. The best of luck to all of you, whether you continue on into education or escape into the jobosphere. Just remember, as some of us have already found out... There's very few, if any, places that rival your Maize and Blue experience. Congrats and God Bless

this is making me feel a whole lot better about my 11 years in college. Unfortunately I didn't graduate from M for any but my first degree. The other 3 have been as I've drifted further south. Tried to get my wife to want to move to Michigan so I could have gotten my master's from U of M Flint (they actually have the program I graduated from in Cincinnati) but when I said the 4 programs in Michigan were in Flint, Oakland, UD Mercy, and Wayne State, she decided she didn't really want to live in the hood. I see now that MSU has a program as well. Doesn't matter. Wouldn't have gone there.
