Yeah, pretty sure he free-handed that piece without saving any copies. /s
Give him time, he'll re-post it.

"What the fuck is Drupal?"

Its one of the countries banned from entering the U.S. Woops - politics.
February 1st, 2017 at 3:11 PM ^

February 1st, 2017 at 3:13 PM ^
That's good.
Welcome to your new site!
February 1st, 2017 at 4:27 PM ^
My access wasn't denied either. Wait til you guys see some of the content I have scheduled to post throughout the week. I really effed some shit up!
February 1st, 2017 at 3:15 PM ^
but it was down :(
February 1st, 2017 at 3:41 PM ^
Yeah, but having seen a Drupal site in action, would you want to create one? Serious question.
Actually, I could get into it and I was deleting the the "Hello" posts that were not recruiting or Lionel Richie related when the big reset and loss of much of today's data occurred. Very odd indeed, even for this site (we rarely see the sort of failures that result in an entire day being erased, but yeah, something needs to improve).
February 1st, 2017 at 4:00 PM ^
Odd? Hardly, the only thing you can guarantee about this site's performance is that if you are depending on it, you are likely to be disappointed if anything newsworthy is taking place.
Brian has put way too much into this site to be indifferent. If there is something going on that is none of our business, I respect that, but otherwise, a very loyal community deserves some comment about the future of this site.
February 1st, 2017 at 4:44 PM ^
It always baffles me why Brian is so reluctant to communicate with his customers regarding their complaints, his intentions regarding responding to service issues, etc. It is disrespectful. It is like sitting on a plane that won't take off and the pilot won't tell you what's going on. It is customer service 101-your customers, especially the loyal ones, will put up with a lot if you tell them what's going on and what steps you are taking to meet expectations.
February 1st, 2017 at 4:53 PM ^
are not his customers.
I don't mean that in a bitter sort of way, it just is.
His real customers (sponsors that pay for access to us) should be alarmed that his product (us) is becoming unstable.
February 2nd, 2017 at 11:06 AM ^
Some of us are his customers. Until this year, I always sent something in the way of a contribution Brian's way every year. This year I haven't because it is the only way I can think of to send a message.
If this site were updated to something decent, I'd be way more generous,

"It always baffles me why Brian is so reluctant to communicate with his customers regarding their complaints, his intentions regarding responding to service issues, etc. It is disrespectful."
Brian knows that all you will ever do is bitch and moan- but keep coming back. He knows his reader base is made of people who just gripe or are too lazy to create their own site. What really angers you is that he has read you correctly.
February 1st, 2017 at 6:52 PM ^
If he's just gonna do whatever and not give a shit about the people reading his site then that pretty much makes him the Dave Brandon of sports blogs.

Argh. All the work I was doing on the depth chart got erased too lol

I think we're all that's left, comrades. The machines struck first.
Did you configure your new Drupal site?
February 1st, 2017 at 3:11 PM ^
Nico went blue...
February 1st, 2017 at 3:32 PM ^
I replied to this post earlier, but that seems to have disappeared as well.
February 1st, 2017 at 3:14 PM ^
Well that was weird. Though Brian and the gang picked today of all days to do a massive site update. Hacked? Somebody pressed the wrong button? Hamster went on strike?
February 1st, 2017 at 3:15 PM ^
The hamsters went to the after party?
February 1st, 2017 at 3:16 PM ^
think it was just too much traffic. TTB went down at about the same time.
February 1st, 2017 at 3:25 PM ^
We get to configure our new Drupal site?
February 1st, 2017 at 4:18 PM ^
Too much traffic was the problem with my site. Not sure about MGoBlog, but I'm guessing that was the problem here, too.

For a new website. Drupal in the house!
February 1st, 2017 at 3:17 PM ^
Love the people on this site, love the content, but hate the site. I guess this was their Heidi moment...with multiple crashes to come.
February 1st, 2017 at 3:17 PM ^
1. Create Drupal site.
2. ??
3. Profit?
