Men's Lacrosse vs. # 17 Ohio State 1PM, (BTN+)
Michigan Men's Lacrosse hosts their rival, the #17-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes at the State Street Stadium today at 1PM. The game will be streamed on BTN+ (booo, last OSU game was on the U). Michigan is coming off its first win of the season against Penn State last week. Today's game marks the beginning of the second half of the B1G schedule and is the first rematch. Ohio State got crushed by Maryland 16-8 last week.
Michigan and Ohio State played two weeks ago and while Michigan started slow and didn't look particularly sharp - they stayed with it and were only down 2 late in the 4th- a good sign for a team that was 0-3 at the time. That play carried over to last week and they knocked off a rebuilding but talented Penn State team. Michigan is getting good production on faceoffs and in goal, so if they can clean up the mistakes and generate opportunities on offense, they should make some noise in the second half of the season here.
GO GET THOSE BUCKEYES!!! GO BLUE!!!
As one of many who refuse to pay for the very substandard BTN+, I just went to MGoBlue.com looking for an audio feed but found nothing.
Do you or anyone else have an update on the game in progress?
I also looked for an audio feed as well but couldn't find one (I found them on youtube a few times weirdly). If I can't watch it, usually I just follow on the team's twitter feed or Inside Lacrosse's scoreboard.
Ohio State up 8-1 at the half, woof.
Man, rough 2nd quarter and that was pretty much the difference.
