College Basketball has such a short season though. I'd be amazed if he returned to full speed before the season ends, and if he can't get back to full speed it's probably not worth it to come back at all.

This doesn't seem to mean anything specific, but with how well Morford has been playing is it possible we're better off without McGary for the rest of the season? Would his return screw up the positive chemistry this group has going?

More excellent news: his tweet just before that was "favorite commercial so far: #TimTebow". That's definitive proof that Mitch has functioning eyes and general cognitive ability, not to mention the motor skills to type that out.

I could make a new thread for this bombshell, or we could just try to contain the gospel of Mitch here.

I just hope he doesn't rush himself by trying to come back before the end of the year. No sense in risking any further injury. And honestly, at this point, it might just make more sense for Beilein to tell him to wait until next season (assuming he doesn't declare for the NBA) before coming back. Horford and Morgan are both playing pretty well.

If he's 100% ready to go, and his coming back improves our chances of winning basketball games, then by all means let him suit up. Otherwise, I'd just tell him to wait until next year.
